My dad, David L. Ponds graduated in the West End class of 1950. I have the annual and many other pictures from that time. My dad passed away on June 2, 2010. He had an envelope on the table addresses to Linda Hewitt but I did not mail it because I did not want to get rid of his annual and all the papers that were precious to him. If you need me to copy some of the papers or pictures and email them or put them up on this site, let me know by email. My dad loved West End High School and talked about it all the time.

What a kind and gentle offer from David’s family to contribute some of his memories for the website. David obviously instilled in his family his genuine qualities of friendship and generosity. We will certainly miss David at our meetings. He had so much to tell and was a friend to everyone. I will be looking forward to seeing his memories posted.
