Can you help? Got WEHS Stuff?

If you have materials related to West End between the years 1934 and 1958, please consider sharing them with the rest of us. Everyone would enjoy seeing photographs of students, faculty or school activities during those years, as well as anything to do with reunions of classes graduating in 1959 and before. If you have “now” photographs you’d like to share, that’d be good. We’re especially interested in the Resume for the year 1958 – and also in any other WEHS annuals issued by any name before 1952.

If you do have material you’re willing to share, please use the contact form to let us know what you have, and I’ll get back with you within two business days.

We particularly want to get an accurate IN MEMORIAM listing for each year. If you know a name that should be included, please leave a comment within the appropriate year stating the name and date of death and confirming the year of graduation.

The class of 43 had their 65th last May. Barbara Ingram Brannum and I worked 15 reunions since our 50th. Barbara has all the material you want for this class… There are quite a few of us left but we are all 84 and some 85 but we still get around! Have fun with your quest.

I was referred to your site by Joan Riley-Smithson, and am thrilled to see another great website dedicated to our beloved West End High School and its students.

As a graduating member of Class of 1953, I would be happy to share what I can from that class. We have had several reunions dating from the 25th to the 55th, organized and planned by some very special students from Class of 1953.

Thank you for your work in getting this website started and running; it looks fantastic!!!
